Direct Support Professional (DSP) — Full-time

Billie's House is hiring full-time Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate, hands-on support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our licensed CILA group home. Our home operates 24/7 with three shifts — help residents build independence, stay healthy, and feel at home.

Schedule

Full-time positions across three shifts for around-the-clock coverage. Shift availability may vary — indicate your preferred shift when you apply.

  • Day shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Evening shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • Overnight / night shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents with daily living skills, personal care, and household routines
  • Follow individualized service plans and document care as required
  • Assist with medication reminders, appointments, and community outings
  • Promote dignity, choice, and positive relationships in a home-like setting
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and communicate clearly with the care team across shift changes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience supporting people with disabilities preferred; we will train the right candidate
  • Reliable, patient, and respectful communication skills
  • Ability to pass required background checks and complete DSP training
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work assigned shifts in a 24/7 residential setting

Billie's House is hiring part-time PRN Direct Support Professionals to fill shifts as needed in our licensed CILA group home. Ideal for flexible caregivers who can pick up day, evening, or overnight coverage when called.

Schedule

PRN (pro re nata) — work on an as-needed basis across our three 24/7 shifts. Hours vary based on coverage needs; no set weekly schedule.

  • Day shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Evening shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • Overnight / night shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the same resident support as full-time DSPs when covering a shift
  • Support daily living skills, personal care, and household routines
  • Follow individualized service plans and document care as required
  • Assist with medication reminders, appointments, and community outings as assigned
  • Communicate clearly with the care team at the start and end of each shift
